2025 International Partners Impact Report

Seventy-five years after its founding, the Aspen Institute continues to invest in one simple idea: that disciplined, values-based dialogue strengthens leadership. That premise is no less relevant today than it was in 1949.

The newly released Aspen Institute International Partners 2025 Impact Report outlines activity across the Institute’s 14 independently governed Institutes - from Colombia to Italy, India to Central Europe - highlighting their work in varied political, economic and cultural contexts.

Aspen Institute New Zealand is proud to be part of this international community. Each partner operates within its own national context, contributing to a wider tradition of open inquiry, non-partisan exchange, and leadership development.

The 2025 report captures the range of that activity, from leadership seminars and policy forums to cross-sector convenings in regions navigating political and economic change. It demonstrates the continued relevance of the Aspen model across diverse national settings.

For Aspen NZ, being part of this network situates our work within a longstanding international tradition of bringing leaders together to think carefully about the choices before them. As our programme continues to evolve in New Zealand, that association carries both strength and opportunity.
